Patrick Seidel is a criminal and civil litigator at Silverman Thompson with more than 15 years of complex trial experience, developed and refined in some of the most challenging jurisdictions in the country. His principal areas of practice include criminal defense (in both State and Federal Court), general civil litigation, and victims’ rights advocacy.
As a former prosecutor in both New York City and Baltimore City, Mr. Seidel has extensive trial experience, representing clients in court weekly. Known for his confidence and preparedness in the courtroom, Mr. Seidel is considered one of the best trial lawyers and criminal lawyers in Baltimore.

Prior to joining Silverman Thompson, Mr. Seidel served as Chief of the Major Investigations Unit for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where he supervised a team of attorneys and law enforcement personnel, as they investigated and prosecuted organized crime, public corruption, human/labor trafficking cases, and matters involving violent, repeat offenders. Before that, Mr. Seidel spent more than a decade as both a veteran homicide and S.V.U. prosecutor, handling some of the highest profile cases in the State.
